What’s happening the next few weeks:
* Blues Blast ‘99, the annual festival of the Phoenix Blues Society, gets underway Feb. 21, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., at Mesa Amphitheater, 201 N. Center St., Mesa. Scheduled performers include Anson Funderburgh & the Rockets featuring Sam Myers, Guitar Shorty, Big Nick and the Gila Monsters, Hans Olson, Chico Chism and Lisa Otey. $12 in advance; $15 day of show. * The Phoenix Art Museum will host the Phoenix Antique and Art Show, March 12-14, where 40 dealers and galleries will sell American and European furniture, jewelry, pre-Columbian art; Asian sculpture, masks and pottery; African art; and American Indian baskets, ceramics and weavings. At the museum’s Steele Gallery, 1625 N. Central Ave. March 12, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; March 13-14, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $10 admission benefits the museum’s education program. (602) 257-2150.
