Whiskey and Wine: Brown-Forman Corp., the name behind Jack Daniel’s spirits and Dansk tableware, said it plans to buy the majority of winemaker Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards’ outstanding stock. Terms were not disclosed. Brown-Forman, whose products also include Fetzer wine, Korbel California champagnes and Hartmann luggage, said 1,000 acres of premium vineyards in California’s Sonoma County are included in the deal. Sonoma Cutrer produces Chardonnay exclusively under the Russian River Ranches, Les Pierres and Cutrer Vineyard labels.
