The city’s 32-gallon trash can limit is about to be enforced. Starting this month, Rainbow Disposal will not empty trash cans larger than 32 gallons. The new rule was adopted because employees cannot safely lift the larger garbage containers that many residents prefer. The rule will first take effect for residents whose trash is collected Mondays. The rest of the city will be included by June. Residents who do not comply during the first week of enforcement will receive a notice of the change. During the second week, containers that are 45 gallons or larger will not be emptied. Information: (714) 847-3581.
