Precious Life Shelter, a nonprofit that aids pregnant women who are homeless, will have its sixth annual Affair of the Heart fund-raiser next month. The group is celebrating its 10th year of helping women with food, lodging, clothes, job-hunting and other services. The event is being held at Long Beach’s Renaissance Hotel on March 20, with social and silent auctions beginning at 6:30 p.m. and a dinner-dance at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from tickets, which cost $45 for individuals and $85 for couples, will benefit the agency’s programs.
