The City Council recently approved using an anonymous $200,000 donation to build restrooms, a picnic shelter and interpretive center at Fairview Regional Park. The additions will be built on the west side of the park near a parking lot behind Estancia High School. The city received the donation more than a year ago from a resident who asked that it be used for improvements to the park. The project will begin after city staff receives bids for the improvements.
