Cal State Fullerton’s Nursing Department recently received a $780,000 endowment, the largest gift in the department’s history. The money will go toward construction of a computerized learning center, a regional Web and telecommunication program, the initiation of a master’s of science degree in nursing, and the development of community- and academic-based partnerships. The new programming is designed to prepare nurses for leadership roles in the health care field, school officials said.
