Orlando Scores Last, Defeats Ice Dogs, 3-2

Terry Hollinger scored 14:51 into the third period to give the Orlando Solar Bears a 3-2 victory over the Long Beach Ice Dogs on Sunday night at Long Beach.
Former Ice Dog Rob Kenny opened the scoring for Orlando with a short-handed goal at 5:28 of the first period. The Ice Dogs tied it in the second when Dmitri Leonov scored his fourth goal.
After Hubie McDonough gave the Solar Bears a 2-1 lead in the second period, the Ice Dogs tied it again when Dan Bylsma scored at 2:26 of the third, with Leonov and Claude Justras assisting.
The Ice Dogs, 41-23-3 and in second place in the Southwest Division of the International Hockey League’s Western Conference, travel to Utah for a Wednesday game and then play back-to-back games at Orlando on Friday and Saturday.
