Louisiana State Players Arrested

Louisiana State safety Clarence LeBlanc and tackle Brandon Winey were arrested Friday in connection with alleged use of long distance telephone access codes at the school. Also arrested were former players Jesse Harmon and Clarence Stamps.
There were reports that as many as six players were being investigated for illegal use of a telephone access code, and campus police said more arrests are anticipated.

Junior wide receiver Garry Davis was kicked off the Kentucky team for violating team policy, Coach Hal Mumme said. Davis was third on the team in receiving with 26 receptions for 312 yards and one touchdown.
