Disneyland’s new FastPass system, which allows customers to bypass long lines at popular attractions, will be in place at four attractions by the end of the year, the Anaheim theme park said Wednesday.
The first ride to get the system will be It’s a Small World, the boat ride that is decorated with a Christmas theme during the holidays. FastPass begins Nov. 19 on Small World and will continue through Jan. 2.
The system will also be in place at Space Mountain starting Nov. 24; Splash Mountain starting Dec. 10, and Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin Dec. 17. Additional rides will be placed on the system next year.
FastPass users pick up vouchers assigning them an hourlong window during which they can move ahead of the regular line. The program has been used successfully at Disney’s Florida theme parks and was greeted enthusiastically during tests at Disneyland.
