Two applicants are ready and willing to fill the City Council’s vacant seat, but there’s no telling if an when that will happen.
Residents Paul Heising and Vince Pachiano have sent letters of interest to interim City Manager Daniel Miller, saying they would like to be considered for the four-month term.
The temporary appointee must agree not to run in the March special election scheduled to fill the fifth council seat left vacant since September, when Gene Wisner stepped down.
