Boys & Girls Club Receives Grant From Haas

* The Boys & Girls Club of Ventura received a $15,000 grant from Haas Automation. The donation was administered by the Ventura County Community Foundation.
The money will be used to implement the club’s “Valuing Diversity-Confronting Bias” program at Pacific High School in Ventura.
Fillmore Students Given Educational Grants * The Fillmore Women’s Service Club announced the names of graduating seniors in Fillmore who received educational grants from the club this year.
Students were honored for scholastic record, activity involvement and personal goals.
The recipients are Gregory Arnsdorf, $1,000; Cheryl Anderson, $750; Susan Arias, $750; Aaron Goodenough, $750; Julia Diaz, $375; Homero Magana, $375; Aime Mackey, $300, and Doug Warren, $200.
