Tonight’s school board meeting will include a public hearing on whether students in kindergarten through third grade have been furnished with a complete set of state-mandated instructional materials. The public hearing will follow a report from district staff on how the district determined whether students are sufficiently equipped.
Board members will also certify that all students have been given the appropriate textbooks and instructional materials for each major academic subject. The school board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the District Education Center, 500 North Walnut St.
