The City Council recently voted to fly a Prisoner of War and Missing in Action flag daily in front of City Hall. Also, at a recent council meeting, Councilman Brett Franklin issued a certificate recognizing World War II and Korean War veteran Dan Oldewage, a Santa Ana resident incarcerated as a prisoner of war during the Korean War.
