Eagle Rock 23, Verdugo Hills 0--Henry Davis carried 25 times for 105 yards but the Dons (2-2) fell at Verdugo Hills.
Rhuben Williams scored twice for Eagle Rock (4-0), on a five-yard fumble recovery and on a 41-yard pass from Torwin Session in the third quarter.
Williams caught two passes for 48 yards.
Backup quaterback Matt Fleming started for Verdugo Hills in place of Jason Dupras, completing three of 12 passes for 43 yards, but had four passes intercepted and lost a fumble.
Fleming longest completion was a 28-yard pass play to Steven Carrillo.
The Dons’ Michael Porter returned a kickoff 63 yards to the Eagles’ 29 with 9:20 left in the fourth quarter, but Fleming had a pass intercepted to end the drive.
It was the closest that the Dons would come to scoring.
Eagle Rock’s Jimmy Blunt and Jorge Trejo each had two interceptions
