Clovis West 36, Highland 10--Clovis West capitalized on five Bulldog turnovers in the first half at Highland.
The Golden Eagles (4-0), ranked No. 2 in the state and No. 10 in the nation, amassed 412 total yards, 372 on the ground. Chad Seiler rushed 15 times for 182 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
Highland (2-2) scored on a 46-yard field goal by Jose Duarte following a Clovis West fumble to cut the deficit to 14-3 early in the second quarter.
The Bulldogs’ only touchdown came on a three-yard pass from Jeremy White to Kevin Morris, capping a five-play, 45-yard drive with 5:08 to play.
