The Police Department will hold its third annual Back-to-School bicycle rodeo Oct. 16 at the Garden Grove Elks Lodge #1952.
The event is designed to reduce the number of injuries and deaths related to bicycle use and increase helmet compliance among children. Members of the Reserve Officer Bicycle Unit will be presenting Safe Moves City, a course that simulates traffic situations. Children participating in the course must wear helmets and will be eligible for prizes. The lodge is at 11551 Trask Ave. Information: (714) 741-5922.
