Village Christian 14, Flintridge Prep 0--Jason Stauffer scored both touchdowns for the Crusaders (1-4) at Kennedy High.
Stauffer scored on a two-yard run in the first quarter and completed a two-point conversion pass to quarterback Neil Gunn for an 8-0 lead. Gunn connected with Stauffer on an 11-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter.
Village Christian held the Rebels (1-4) to 117 total yards. Derek Wilde and Bryan Galdos each had an interception, and Joshua Martin recovered a fumble to thwart a late Flintridge Prep drive.
