The City Council recently approved a five-year contract for mobile data system services with the city of Brea, which also has agreements with La Palma, Los Alamitos, Placentia, Cypress, Seal Beach, Newport Beach and Tustin. Buena Park has contracted with Brea since January 1994 for the police unit system that allows police vehicles to receive information from the station via a mobile computer. The contract will cost the city $237,600.
