Opus West Opens Los Angeles Office

Phoenix-based Opus West has opened an office in Los Angeles and named Gary Toeller, a former partner and senior vice president with Newport Beach-based Koll Development Co., to head the new operation as vice president of development.
Opus hopes to “play a bigger role in what continues to be a thriving Los Angeles-area commercial real estate market,” said Paul Marshall, a senior vice president who heads the company’s Irvine-based Southern California region, which was established in 1996.
The regional office has more than 3.2 million square feet of buildings under construction, planned or completed, according to the company’s announcement. Projects include Opus Center Irvine and a build-to-suit office building for Allstate Insurance Co. under construction in Diamond Bar.
Toeller, a 20-year veteran of the Los Angeles commercial real estate industry, will be based in an office in Westwood.
