MiniMed Reports 65% Jump in Net Income

MiniMed Inc. in Sylmar reported net income for the first quarter ended March 31 of $6.2 million, a 65% increase over net income of $3.8 million for the same period in 1999. Revenue rose 47% to $60.3 million compared with $40.9 million.
