Quarterback is a high-profile position at most schools, but not at Paraclete.
With a wing-T offense that features three potential 1,000-yard rushers--Curtis Brown, Erick Jackson and Michael Washington--there is little need to pass.
But Craig Herrera, who moved to quarterback from receiver, relishes his role.
“Stats mean nothing,” said Herrera, who has thrown 98 passes in 11 games. “I’m the quarterback of one of the best teams in [Division XII]. I love leading these guys and running this offense. There’s no position I’d rather play.”
