Robinson Plays Above Competition

College basketball recruiters don’t usually show up for junior varsity games, but they might want to start attending ones involving Chatsworth High.
Frank Robinson, who is one of the region’s top juniors, is playing junior varsity after the City Section declared him ineligible for varsity competition for one season following his transfer from Littlerock.
The 6-foot-2 Robinson scored 55 points against Grant last week.
“If we had Frank, he’d definitely put us up at the elite level,” varsity Coach Emad Whitney said.
Chatsworth’s varsity (3-1) opened last week with a third-place finish in the Simi Valley tournament. Guard Shayne Berry averaged 30.8 points in four games.
