We went to see Bette Midler at the Staples Center Dec. 16. We heard her, but we didn’t see her, nor did anyone else who had seats on the floor in the back half of the stadium. There was absolutely no sight line to the stage through the heads of the people in front of you. Two things would have solved this problem: The stage needed to be about six feet higher, with a big projection screen in the center, as they had on the side.
For $100 a ticket, there is no excuse for not being able to see the stage. I would never return to Staples Center for another concert.
