Realty Management Institute to Hear Industry Forecast

The Los Angeles chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management will hold its sixth annual Real Estate Forecast Breakfast on Jan. 12 in downtown Los Angeles.
Jack Kyser, chief economist of the Economic Development Corp. of Los Angeles County, will deliver his forecast for the Los Angeles area.
In addition, a group of real estate brokers and executives will discuss the outlook for different sectors of the industry. Robert A. Baker, vice president of leasing for Madison Marquette, will speak on retail real estate; Stephen L. Bay, executive managing director of Insigna/ESG, will focus on the office market; Kenneth T. Carey, first vice president of CB Richard Ellis Inc., will talk about industrial leasing and development; and Greg Garmon, regional vice president of the Apartment Investment & Management Co., will discuss the apartment industry.
