E-Trade Group Inc. (EGRP) won final U.S. regulatory approval of its $1.1-billion purchase of Telebanc Financial Corp. (TBFC), clearing the No. 2 online broker to complete its delayed acquisition of the Internet bank today. E-Trade shares fell $1.38 to $26.69 and Telebanc was unchanged at $27.81, both on Nasdaq. . . . Denver-based Janus Capital Corp., last year’s best-performing and fastest-growing mutual fund family, said it has hiked its stakes in Electronic Arts Inc. (ERTS), the No. 1 video game publisher, and in SFX Entertainment Inc. (SFX), the leading producer of rock concerts, theater and sporting events. Janus reported in a Securities and Exchange filing that it recently held about 12% of both companies. Electronic Arts fell $1.13 to $95; SFX lost $2.44 to $33.56.
