The Mulholland Scenic Parkway Design Review Board will hold a public hearing Thursday on the construction of a new home in the 4100 block of North Marcos Road.
The review board makes recommendations to the city planning department after considering whether proposed construction projects larger than 900 square feet would interfere with scenic views from Mulholland Drive, said Anna M. Vidal, a planning assistant.
The proposal under consideration calls for construction of a 3,400-square-foot, two-story house with a maximum height of 34 1/2 feet.
The review board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the William O. Douglas Outdoor Classroom at Sooky Goldman Nature Center, 2600 Franklin Canyon Drive.
