The Santa Ana Elks Lodge is sponsoring its annual essay contest, “Why We Should Honor Our Flag,” for sixth-grade students in the Tustin and Santa Ana unified school districts. Four boys and four girls will be selected and will receive U.S. savings bonds ranging from $75 to $200. The deadline is Friday. Information: (714) 730-7339.
