* SAN FRANCISCO (13-4, 1-3) at PEPPERDINE (14-5, 4-0), 7--In a scheduling oddity, the Waves must play the Dons less than a week after defeating them, 76-70, at San Francisco. Pepperdine extended its winning streak to six games despite being outshot by the Dons, who took a 12-game winning streak into West Coast Conference play but have struggled. In Pepperdine’s two road victories last week, its scoring was remarkably balanced. Brandon Armstrong was the Waves’ leading scorer with 13 points against San Francisco and five of his teammates scored in double figures. Pepperdine defeated Santa Clara, 71-60, with six players scoring eight to 12 points. The Waves host the Broncos on Saturday at 5 p.m.
