The City Council approved an agreement allowing the state to reimburse the city up to $364,000 for the upcoming Orangethorpe Avenue improvement project during a recent meeting.
Last month the city approved plans for the project to renovate the section of Orangethorpe from Western to Stanton avenues. A portion of the project will be financed by the Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Program, administered by the Orange County Transportation Authority.
