* Well, it is nice to know that someone is getting good mail delivery (“Postal Service Scores High for Promptness, Satisfaction,” July 13). You would never know it out here in Palm Desert.
Our mail is delivered regularly between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. My wife recently received a birthday card on July 1 that was postmarked in San Bernardino on June 15. Two other cards were mailed in Glendale on June 16 and they have not showed up yet. If that is an example of good service, I would hate to see what bad service is like.
