The Magic Lamp mobile home park will hold a birthday party Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. to honor Stanton resident Ruby Kauffman, who turns 100 that day. Kauffman was born in Smith County, Kan., on March 5, 1900. Kauffman said the most spectacular event of her 100 years was the sinking of the Titanic in 1912.
