The Marmonte League has been considered the region’s top softball league for several seasons, but that might not be the case this season.
The seven teams in the Marmonte League were a combined 26-16 through Tuesday. The six Foothill League teams were 27-8, including a 3-1 record against Marmonte League teams.
“I definitely think we have the toughest league,” said Valencia Coach Donna Lee, whose team defeated Moorpark, 3-1, on Tuesday.
