Nominations are being accepted for community grand marshal of the 96th annual Fourth of July parade.
The community grand marshal is chosen on the basis of outstanding volunteer service in the city. Candidates can be local organizations, not just residents.
Submissions must be made on an official form provided by the city. Send nominations to the Fourth of July Executive Board, Community Services Department, 2000 Main St., Huntington Beach, CA 92648. The deadline is April 7. Information: (714) 536-5486.
