3 Held in Theft of 75 Cars From Airport

SAN DIEGO — Three men have been arrested for allegedly stealing 75 vehicles from San Diego’s Lindbergh Field.
The vehicles stolen over the past year were used in crimes at the U.S.-Mexico border, including smuggling undocumented immigrants, the Port of San Diego said in a news release Thursday.
The men were identified as Javier Ruiz Perez, 29, Arturo Loza-Arteaga, 35, and Jose DeJesus Loza-Arteaga, 31, all of Tijuana.
