Who Wants to Be Bored?

Please let Steve Levitan know that if his NBC comedies were worth watching, then his ratings would stand up against the popular show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” (“What’s the Final Answer to ‘Millionaire’s’ Rampage?” by Brian Lowry, March 17). If his writers spend hours “crafting a single . . . joke” and we don’t think it’s funny, then why not go back to the drawing board (or hire new writers) instead of blaming “Millionaire”? And if millions of viewers want to see “some guy guess the color of a Smurf,” then so be it.
