* University Access, the Los Angeles-based online educator that focuses on business, said it obtained an additional $42 million in financing. The company will use proceeds, from a group of investors that includes GE Equity and Investor, to complete several corporate education programs.

* Countrywide Credit Industries Inc. said fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell 2% to $99.8 million, or 87 cents a share, as interest income and loan origination fees fell on slower lending. The results were better than the 64 cents on average analysts forecast. Shares of Calabasas-based firm closed off 88 cents at $28.44 on the NYSE.

* Boeing Co. Chairman Phil Condit’s compensation more than tripled to $4.5 million last year. He received $1.1 million in salary, a $1.9-million bonus, $1.4 million in restricted stock and other compensation of $86,270, Boeing said in a regulatory filing.
