He Sees Crayon as Horse Picker of Different Color

I take exception to the recent letter condemning and ridiculing Curtis Crayon. I have always said any moron can pick the obvious favorite, but it takes a real handicapper to pick a longshot. The real test is total money won, and Crayon has been very competitive in this category.
The race is not always to the most obvious, although the California tracks do their best to make it so.
