* Today’s Southern California Film Festival lineup at A Captain Blood’s Village Theatre in Orange:
6:15 p.m. “Deathumentary,” a feature by film students and faculty from Orange Coast College.
8 p.m. “Extraordinary Visitor,” above, a fable by John M. Doyle in which God sends an emissary to Earth on a seven-day quest to find a reason to save humanity from destruction.
10 p.m. “Open mike” session, local filmmakers are invited to screen their works publicly.
