Dedicated Outfit Turns Professional

Dedicated Transportation Services, a Santa Ana hauler with more than 300 employees and 70 offices nationwide, has been acquired by Professional Transportation Group Ltd. in Marietta, Ga. Terms were not disclosed.
Dedicated, which was founded in 1991, logged revenue of about $44 million for its latest fiscal year, Professional said Thursday.
Dedicated will retain its current management, and no layoffs will occur at either company, the Georgia transportation services company said.
