The Irvine company, which buys, sells and services loans originated by auto dealers, said it lost $1.2 million, or 6 cents a share, in the third quarter, compared with a net loss of $16.6 million, or 82 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue totaled $14.3 million. For last year’s third quarter, the company reported negative revenue of $9.2 million, representing a loss on the sale of contracts.
