Community Meetings Set on School Sites

The Los Angeles Unified School District is conducting a series of community meetings to select locations for dozens of schools proposed in its building program.
The plan includes primary centers, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and continuation high schools to accommodate enrollment growth and end busing from overcrowded schools.
The Times will publish the schedule weekly. This week’s meetings:

Location: Gratts Elementary School
309 Lucas Ave., Los Angeles
Proposed Project: Gratts Primary Center
Date: Tuesday
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Hobart Elementary School
980 S. Hobart Blvd., Los Angeles
Proposed Project: Los Angeles Elementary School No. 5 and Belmont Elementary School No. 10
