They Might Get Caught Leading With Their Chin

Times NFL writer Robyn Norwood poses--and answers--the burning questions for this week’s games:
Question: How big a lead will Miami need before anyone leaves Pro Player Stadium early?
Answer: Actually, there would be no better reason to stay in your seat than a 23-point fourth-quarter lead. The Dolphins led, 30-7, before the Jets forced overtime and went on to win, 40-37, last month.
Q: Will a Redskin loss to the Rams on Monday night cost Norv Turner his job?
A: Supposedly owner Daniel Snyder won’t make a move until after the season--but he’d be sorely tempted after three consecutive losses.
Q: Will Chad Morton, listed at 5 feet 8, be able to do anything to help the Saints make up for the loss of Ricky Williams?
A: Betting against Morton is usually a good way to lose money. He went from defensive back to 1,000-yard rusher at USC and already had gone from fifth-round pick to punt and kickoff return duty with the Saints before adding his new role.
Q: That 0-17 record for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the temperature at kickoff is below 40 degrees has to end sometime, right?
A: Like today. Tampa Bay plays at Chicago, and the conditions should be chilly.
Q: Will Ryan Leaf, once again the Charger starter, throw an interception today?
A: He has thrown 23 in 15 appearances. You make the call.
