LOS ANGELES — The Board of Supervisors has awarded a $174,555 contract to a Los Angeles company to promote county online efforts to provide information on recycling.
The county Department of Public Works runs an online exchange called LACoMAX that finds new uses for materials otherwise headed to the trash bin. And the Web site https://www.888cleanla.com provides information on pollution control, recycling and other techniques.
LA Internet Corp. will develop promotional material under the 18-month pact.
