The City Council will meet in closed session tonight to discuss whether to hire any of the five candidates interviewed this month for the position of city manager.
Council members interviewed the candidates Oct. 6 and met last week to discuss their qualifications. Interim City Manager Dan Miller said the candidates, narrowed from a field of 66 applicants, come from southern and central California.
Tonight’s closed session meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. The council will reconvene in open session at 6:30 to conduct its regular meeting in the council chamber at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave.
