The Oxnard Elementary School District will host an educational technology fair from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 19 at Ramona School, 804 Cooper Road.
The fair, “Ed Tech 2000--Technology for a Lifetime of Learning,” is free and open to the public. Teachers, parents and administrators will be able to attend several workshops and learn more about how to use technology in schools.
There will be representatives on hand from several companies and vendors, including Classroom Connect, Cable in the Classroom, Jones Intercable and Verizon Communications.
“We’re pleased to be able to provide this free educational mini-conference to the community,” Supt. Richard Duarte said. “It’s a great opportunity to show the learning community in Oxnard what we have going in new technologies.”
