Running back Tim Gregory of Hart underwent surgery last week to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a mild cartilage tear in his right knee.
Gregory, a junior, is expected to be recovered before his senior season.

Hart is affected by the turmoil at Monroe.
Monroe, sanctioned last week by the City Section for repeated infractions, has been banned from playing games the first week of the next two seasons.
Hart, which was scheduled to play the Vikings in the opener next season, must look for another opponent.
“It turned out to be pretty unlucky for us,” Hart Coach Mike Herrington said.

Sophomore Juan Wilson is establishing himself as a quality utility player for Littlerock.
Wilson, 5-11 and 180 pounds, began the season at free safety.
Three weeks ago, Williams was moved to strong safety and was credited with 17 tackles against St. Bernard.
The following week, he started at inside linebacker and had nine tackles against Lynwood.
“We’re really high on him,” Coach Jim Bauer said. “I think he’s a can’t-miss kid.”

Linebacker Neil McCarthy of Lancaster has been credited with 73 tackles, including 20 last week in a loss to Antelope Valley, but Coach Troy Jackson isn’t exactly excited about that development.
“That tells me we’re on defense way too much,” he said.
