Columbia Picks Head of Network Production

* Thomas Mazza has been named president of network production for Columbia Tristar Television. He will oversee comedy, drama and long-form development. He previously was executive vice president of creative affairs for Paramount Network Television.
* Michael Caren has been promoted to vice president of artists and repertoire for Atlantic Records, based in the company’s Los Angeles offices. He will report to Atlantic Executive Vice President Craig Kallman. Caren was most recently senior director of A&R.;
* Foodchain Records, a Los Angeles-based independent record label, has named Jennifer Andreone director of marketing services. She previously was head of marketing at POPsmear magazine.
* Los Angeles-based executive search firm Berkhemer/Clayton Inc. has named Peggy V. Chong vice president in charge of the firm’s technology practice group. Previously with TMP Worldwide in L.A., Chong was formerly a senior Berkhemer/Clayton consultant.
