Reservations are being taken for San Juan Capistrano Community Counseling Center’s “The Ego and its Defenses” program at 7 p.m. Nov. 2.
Alice Thompson, a licensed marital and family therapist, will teach the workshop, addressing such questions as “What are defense or coping mechanisms?” and “Why do people repeat their mistakes yet don’t know how they did it?” The free program will be at the Community Counseling Center, 27514 Calle Arroyo.
