Save Our Oil
The energy policy of the Bush administration is to quickly suck dry the earth under the United States so that we will become completely dependent on imported oil.
If we get into a war and our armed forces and industry are almost completely dependent on foreign oil, we will be vulnerable, because the long supply line from the Middle East will be subject to interdiction by our enemies, especially if they are allied with Iraq, Iran and Libya.
We should use imported oil and conserve our own. I am willing to pay higher fuel prices to protect the security of our country. For the same reason, I didn’t agree with the policy of the Clinton administration in drawing down our petroleum reserves to hold down gasoline prices.
