From Times Wire Reports
Japan decided to send experts to aid the United States in any efforts to raise a trawler rammed and sunk by a U.S. nuclear-powered submarine.
The accident left nine people missing and presumed dead inside the vessel and has strained U.S.-Japanese ties. Those missing were four 17-year-old fisheries students, two teachers and three crewmen.
The Kyodo news agency said the decision was made at a meeting of officials from various government ministries.
